Below you can find answers to the most common questions about our network, our members and our activities.
What is the Haga Initiative?
The Haga Initiative is a network of companies that work to reduce carbon emissions from the business sector and highlight the climate issue by showing that ambitious climate strategies create business advantages and improve profitability.
Who are the members?
The Haga Initiative consists of fifteen companies: AkzoNobel, Axfood, Coca-Cola Enterprises Sweden, Folksam, Fortum Heat, Green Cargo, HKScan Sweden, JM, Lantmännen, Löfbergs, McDonald’s, Preem, Siemens, Stena Recycling and Sveaskog.
Who can join?

Get in touch and see if collaboration is possible. It may also be a good idea to read our newsletter, check our website and keep in touch with us via Twitter and Facebook to see what opportunities may arise.
When was the network founded?
The Haga Initiative was founded in December 2010.
Is the Haga Initiative mainly a way to market climate-committed companies?
To achieve the Haga Initiative’s vision of “a profitable business sector without climate impact,” we would like to spotlight companies that are climate-committed and want to inspire other companies to take the same steps and help us achieve our goal.
What happens in the Haga Initiative?
The Haga Initiative arranges breakfast meetings and seminars, produces reports and the companies network with each other. You will find outside activities under News.
Why is the Haga Initiative needed?
There is a need for more companies that show that climate impact can be decreased whilst profitability is still increased, this is what the companies in the Haga Initiative do. We hope this can inspire other companies. Far too many people describe the difficulties when it comes to mitigation and adaptation, we choose to highlight the possibilities.
